The economic downturn in the USA in 2008 gave me a welcome chance of a career change and a way to spend more time in the UK with my young family. I’m now following an interest in video production which I’ve had all my life.
I’ve always tried to be at the forefront of technology in my professional and personal life and saw this video revolution coming. I wanted to be even more active in this field and so I formed Shooting Image Ltd in 2008 to help companies create web video content in a professional and creative yet cost effective way. Now, nearly nine years on, I’m running a successful video production company - and loving every minute of it - because I’m always working with new people and helping them get their messages across in interesting ways. But it is more than that. These people trust me with their corporate image and that’s a responsibility I take very seriously.
Based in Ely, just north of Cambridge, we’ve now produced over 680 business films for Cambridge, UK and international companies in the last 9 years.

Effective business video has now become a 'must have' for businesses of all sizes. Some exciting new videos are currently in production for several clients around the UK. We've also recently produced a number of new films for small businesses in Ely, Cambridge, Newmarket and near Huntingdon, along with 2 films for the huge, new Cambridge Innovation Park. Other recent work includes 4 highly technical films for a Cambridge medical company, plus films for several multinationals (both new and regular clients) and one global name. All of these have come from word of mouth recommendations and our track record of producing high quality business films.
Shooting Image Ltd are proud to sponsor the Magpas Air Ambulance life saving medical charity. We've made 25 films for them (gratis) over the last 5 years and we're currently working on a new one. Short films we recently produced for their Christmas campaign attained 241,000 views on social media during December. I'm also supporting the Ely Hero 2018 Awards with a bit of filming to help promote the initiative.
