Mickledore is a fast growing and ambitious economic development company based in North West England but operating across the UK and internationally. Our work focuses on helping public agencies with their work on stimulating economic growth and adding value to regional economies. A large amount of that work is now based on understanding sectors and the knowledge economy. Our work with corporate clients focuses on raising public funds and grants as well as identifying locations for investment.
Our differentiator is the depth of the research we undertake and our knowledge of business investment. Much of our work whether on economic impact, evaluation or fund raising is underpinned by financial analysis and we bring huge experience in corporate finance and business planning. As a result all of our work on economic outcomes is informed by a practical and hands on experience of private sector investment.
Mickledore was formed in 2008, has worked with over 85 clients, and has assembled a senior team drawn from Big 4 consulting with professional qualifications in Economics, Planning, Market Research and Marketing. Our Director Nigel Wilcock is also a Director of the Institute of Economic Development.
