Natures Images is a wildlife photographic holiday and workshop business established by professional nature photographers Danny Green and Mark Sisson.
Des Ong is a full-time wildlife photographer based in the UK. Born in the tropics, he grew up with a firm interest in nature. His love of art began during his teenage years where he practiced watercolour. Wildlife photography is a combination his two passions – art and nature. It is his artistic expression of the natural world.
Terry has been a professional photographer since 2000, following a career in zoos and wildlife conservation around the world. Specialising in the relationship between people and nature, commissions and personal projects include the Asian wildlife trade, endangered primates in Vietnam, urban nature and wildlife habitat restoration in the UK.
There may also be occasions on trips when conditions are less than optimal – the weather may simply not be working with us, species may not appear or behave as we might have hoped they would. That is the very nature of wildlife – and it is not something we can or will ever be able to control. Therefore we ask that you fully understand this before you travel with us. We don’t look at our trips as a tick-list, rather the chance to be with helpful professionals in great locations looking to respond to the opportunities that we will create based on our experience.
All of that said, we always try to run things in a light-hearted and enjoyable manner – we never forget that you are on holiday after all. And we like to think that’s why we have such a high percentage of guests who come back on further trips or workshops with us; and the fact that we believe that adopting this overall approach to photography is what will give you what you are most likely to be looking for – an enjoyable experience, good company, engaging wildlife experiences and returning with images that you are genuinely pleased with.
We take our conservation responsibilities very seriously, and habitat and animal welfare are and always will be the number one priority for us. We are wildlife photographers and conservationists first and foremost who have established a photographic travel business.
Everytime one of our trip leaders boards a flight to run a trip, the carbon miles for the journey will be offset by making a calculated donation to Climate Care. We will also look to do the same for any mileage incurred during a trip.
Natures Images will also offset its business carbon emissions with Climate Care.
and making your donation directly to them.
For a number of our trips, we will also be making donations to charities and projects that are focussed on the conservation of a specific species or habitat that we are visiting. We are, for instance, proud to support Polar Bears International through our Arctic Adventure trip, and the Yellowstone Wolf Project through our Yellowstone Winter trip.
