TribePad was founded with the mission to reduce the costs of finding the best talent, while making it simpler for candidates.
After initially focusing on Video Interviewing and social hiring, the company pivoted to develop an Applicant Tracking System, when asked by G4S to help simplify a complex international system deployment.
Dan joined the company to work with recruiters and candidates to design the recruitment journey and scale the platform. The new centralised ATS was implemented successfully,
After travelling the globe and working as a bus driver, Dean achieved a PhD in computing then joined a startup called Plusnet. He wrote the billing and CRM platform, became CIO and helped grow the business from a handful of employees to over 700, through IPO then exiting via a sale to BT.
Running his own development business, Dan created numerous websites and applications including an HR on-boarding solution for a public sector client and several ‘gig economy’ mobile apps. He joined TribePad full time in 2011 and is responsible for running the business day to day. He is married with two children and when not in front of a screen, can be found running marathons, playing pool and hobbling round the Tough Mudder course.
