ABOUT CONCEPT ENGINEERING (HULL) LIMITED
Concept Engineering delivers effective engineering and manufacturing solutions to companies in the UK and abroad across a range of industry sectors. From bespoke machines, equipment and structures to complex conveyor systems, Concept Engineering has the skills and experience to manufacture products of the highest quality — on time and on budget.
The company was formed in 2008 by Steve Larkin and Andy Cowper — both highly experienced project managers and time served fabricators.
They are backed by a 15 strong team of engineers, fabricators and an in-house CAD and Solid Works design team providing a full drawing office facility. The business recently moved into new premises in Hull and major investment has been made in technology including CNC machines to deliver the finest precision close limit sheet metal work.
When the world leader in specialist glass production needed a bespoke testing rig it turned to Concept Engineering for a solution.
Our design team successfully created an effective ball drop device which enables Saint Gobain to ensure its products far exceed the required glass safety standards.
The system is now in regular use at Saint Gobain’s production centre at Eggborough, East Yorkshire.
