Dene is a leading UK water sector expert specialising in supply/demand management, leakage and water loss management, domestic and revenue metering. He also has experience of supply demand planning, policy development and regulation. Dene has over 25 years’ experience and has provided expertise in a wide variety of projects including research in water demand planning & forecasting, water efficiency, water conservation, demand management options, leakage management, flow-metering, the cost effectiveness of different demand management options.
Simon has 26 years’ experience in the water sector primarily as an international consultant specialising in many aspects of water and sanitation sector capacity strengthening, business planning, institutional reform and comparative performance and regulation; in Ethiopia, Egypt, Brazil, India, Kyrgyz Republic, Yemen, Bangladesh and others in South and Central Asia, and South America. Simon also has a number of years’ experience of working with WWF in support of its UK based water stewardship and river management improvement initiatives.
Rob has over 24 years’ experience in the technical delivery, management and direction of water resource planning and management, water efficiency and hydrology projects. Rob has provided extensive support to water companies in the delivery of water resource management plans as part of the last four periodic reviews, and as a result has an in-depth technical knowledge of all aspects of the supply demand balance including deployable output estimation, headroom and outage, micro-component demand forecasting, climate change analysis and scheme option identification and appraisal.
Victoria has an MSc in water resources technology and management with expertise in the areas of water resources planning, demand management, metering, water efficiency and conservation. Other areas of experience include; water quality modelling and trending, design and operation of water treatment processes, water resources and water supply in developing countries. Victoria was a water resources planner at the Environment Agency Wales responsible for auditing water company water resources management plans with particular emphasis on the demand management; leadings the EA’s water efficiency strategy for Wales
Joe has over 10 years experience developing strategies around water networks, including leading the successful below ground asset package for a water company at the last price review. He has experience of network failure and consequence modelling and cost benefit optimisation of water network strategies. He also has extensive knowledge of leakage calculation techniques as well as the components required for leakage assessments. He has a PhD in plastic water pipe degradation from Imperial College.
