We are a friendly, highly organised family run business with over 37 years experience in the manufacturing and installation of beautiful stone work surfaces for homes, workplaces, hotels, schools, restaurants, bars and clubs.
Middlesex Marble was based in Brentford for many years and as the business begun to grow successfully, the decision was made to expand and move to bigger premises. Despite an extensive search by Ben in and around the M25/Surrey perimeter area, nothing suitable was found. A well timed round of golf was played by Ben’s father, where he met someone who had too much space. It was fate and the move to Central Way in Feltham, Middlesex was made in 2010.
The company has grown with the move, and we have invested in new machinery and staff, enabling us to deliver projects with greater accuracy, flexibility and timing. We are all extremely proud of the business we have today, and we look forward to the future development of Middlesex Marble, and to working with all our new and existing customers.
This will give you a guide as to how we operate as a business, and how simple it is to commission us to supply and install your stone, but we appreciate that all projects are unique, so we can be flexible and work with you to get the results you require. We can give you a very accurate all inclusive quotation for your new or replacement kitchen worktops, or other stone surface requirements, if you can provide a set of measurements, or ideally a plan of your new kitchen or bathroom. It helps to give us an idea of what material you think you’d like, or an idea of the colour or shade, but we can help make recommendations that match your budget.
Once you know when your units will be installed, its time to give us a call and let us know when you think your units are ready for templating. This is when all the base units and/or range cooker are installed, and the sink and/or hob are on site. If you are purchasing a sink and tap from us, we will usually bring these with us to the template. We are happy to liaise with your builder or fitter if that’s easier for you.
Middlesex Marble Ltd was originally set up by Ben's father, Ernie Fahey. He realised there was a requirement for bespoke vanity tops to match the tiles in peoples homes and in particular the many hotels around London. After a short while the demand for bespoke stone became increasingly popular and the business started to grow.
Ben is a highly experienced stone mason, having been in the family business for many years. He has a great understanding of the complexities and skills associated with the fabrication and installition of stone. He has delivered thousands of successful residential and commercial projects. Ben is very much involved in all aspects of the business, and is always on hand to help with ideas of how best to deliver a project.
Agi looks after our books which is no easy task as the company is growing all the time. Agi worked previously as an estate agent in West London, which gave her access to a lot of private homes and developments, and therefore a very good idea about the requirements of our clients. Agi’s calm and professional manner has a very healthy influence in the office. This is probably a very polite way of saying she keeps things well organised.
Martin was carefully chosen to be our main installer. He has a wealth of experience, having spent 15 years installing all kinds of natural and engineered stone in both residential and commercial projects. His attention to detail is second to none. He is someone who is only happy when a job is perfect. He has improved the company with his knowledge of the industry, as there are very few projects that he has not experienced before. Martin is very friendly, trustworthy and can give you good advice. Traditionally, this has been a difficult role to fill at Middlesex Marble, but we think you’ll appreciate his hard work, dedication and attention to detail.
Vincent came to us almost straight from school. It was very clear from the start that hew was a quick learner, and wanted to be the very best at what he does. He certainly is that now. It was Vincent who mastered wet polishing machinery first, following our transition into a wet polishing company. Wet polishing provides a much higher standard of finish, but is more complicated to deliver. The quality of Vincent’s work is fantastic and rivals any machine on the market. A lot of our work is done using CNC machines, but still needs hand finishing to meet our high standards. We are very lucky to have someone as personable and talented as Vincent in our team
