Manit Contractors Limited are a family run company who have been successfully operating as a contractor and subcontractor within all sectors of the construction industry since its formation more than a decade ago. The owner and founder Richard Neill is still actively involved at all levels throughout the business.
With over 50 operatives in the field we consistently meet deadlines .We are also well positioned to be available to respond in the event of urgent and emergency requests.
Business has gone from strength to strength based on organic growth through word of mouth referrals and recommendations.
We are proactive, continually striving to go beyond the usual industry requirements (of Health and Safety/Training/Investment in Plant) in that our focus is on Sustainability in all we do, centrally and out on site.
We have also won several awards for our Environmental work , a Silver Green Apple Award for a car park scheme for Bedford Borough Council in June 2014 , a Great Green Star Investors in the Environment accreditation in Jan 2016 , Bronze Green Apple for a joint scheme with Skanska on the A 10 Cycleway in June 2016 and a Bronze Green Apple Award in November 2016 for Environmental best practice. Manit Contractors have a commitment to delivering zero waste to landfill and have a long term objective to generate zero waste from our projects.
We provide the very best staff training through three specialist training companies to ensure we deliver consistently high quality workmanship. We empower our skilled foremen to make their own informed decisions on site, seamlessly with reference to the clients exacting requirements, and this close collaboration provides the prompt delivery everyone is looking for. As well as completing City and Guilds New Roads and Street Works certificates our operatives also have the CSCS, CPCS & NPORS accreditation scheme cards.
At Manit Contractors we strive to ensure no harm to our employees health occurs as a result of our operations. Our Health & Well being program includes Occupational Health Surveillance for all our employees, which is undertaken by Workfit. We have also been accredited by Achilles,SafeContractor, CHAS and Constructionline.
