started Newspan in 1998. As MD he’s ultimately responsible for the overall running of the business, as well as being a hands-on leader of the operations team. Having been in construction for over 25 years, Mark manages customer relationships and is passionate about the service that Newspan delivers.
has 40 years’ experience working in the engineering and construction industries and has been with Newspan since 2005. He is involved in all aspects of the business from estimating through to purchasing and invoicing. He is also responsible for the day to day management of health and safety.
began at Newspan in 2015 and has revolutionised the design and drawing process delivered to clients for the company. With a history of technical drawing Adam lends a very keen attention to detail with every project he is involved with ensuring the customer can be well briefed on their project.

On site and in the offices Newspan reuse and recycle to reduce waste, selecting recycled and recyclable products where performance and budget permits. The team at Newspan are continually looking at ways to lessen the environmental impact, and are always ready to hear new ideas.
This 1,520 sq m garden centre was built using contemporary materials but delivers a very traditional style, illustrated in the 45 degree roof pitch and the Dutch barn ends. The main entrance features a decorative galvanised cruck frame, with the elevations overclad in responsibly sourced Thermowood cladding. Kingspan tile effect composite panels to the roof provided the aesthetic appearance the planners were looking for, whilst maintaining efficient modern construction techniques required by building control.
This 3,000 sq m traditionally styled retail building accommodates outlets for well-known high street brands including Lakeland, Edinburgh Woollen Mill and Cotswold outdoor. The project at Nantwich was actually an addition to an original building delivered by Newspan in 2002, meaning the link between the two was straight forward. With time pressures from the oncoming Christmas trade the new extension was completed in good time to maximise seasonal publicity and business from Christmas shoppers.
Swansea provided the backdrop for another project for The Range. Newspan completed a two storey retail extension and garden centre refurbishment. Similar to Plymouth, the Swansea store also has its own showpiece – a vast 7 meter tall screen that leans to 7 degrees and is 140 linear meters long. New cladding was installed all round along with a new entrance. We are always thrilled to work with The Range and we normally get the chance to do something exciting to deliver a truly impressive finished product.
