Marimba was established in 2008 as a chocolate cafe in Sudbury by David and Jackie Wright. Their son Bradley helped launch the cafe as barista, and is now managing the wholesale business. It soon also had a chocolate shop in Sudbury, with truffle creations by Jackie and daughter Katherine. In 2016 the demand for Hot Chocolate Melts led to the opening of a larger facility in nearby Bury St Edmunds. Today Jackie, daughter Josiane and team still produce truffles, button, easter eggs and other chocolate creations in Sudbury.
