Managing Director Chris Proctor is one of the most experienced in the industry, in 1980 after completing his engineering apprenticeship and two years as a machine tool sales engineer he joined a Sheffield Industrial Blade manufacturer, in 2008 after 28 years in the industry during which time he worked for two other Machine Knife and Industrial Blade manufacturers he formed Knife Tech Limited, working in a traditional Sheffield industry for so long is something he is proud of after all his father worked in the Sheffield cutlery industry from the age of fourteen to sixtyfive, the only break being to do his national service.
