About Stanford Opticians
There's been an optician on The Green in Stanford-Le-Hope since at least 1960, when Reg Staunton and Clive Notley acquired the premises and turned it into Staunton and Notley opticians. Over the years new owners have come and gone and provided the local population with high-quality, affordable eye care.
and in 2014 changed the name of the practice to Stanford Opticians.

Contact lens trials and aftercare appointments at Stanford Opticians are carried out by full qualified optometrists (ophthalmic opticians) or dispensing opticians with additional contact lens qualifications.
Contact lens trials cost £80.00, which covers the initial trial appointment, handling tuition, a starter kit of solutions (where necessary) and a supply of diagnostic contact lenses to have a play with at home. The contact lens trial fee also covers all the additional appointments that are needed in the first year of contact lens wear. In subsequent years you can choose the Stanford Opticians aftercare package which covers all the contact lens appointments that you need during the year, whether routine or emergency or to try some different lenses, which is £50.00 for the year, or pay per contact lens appointment at £30.00 for each visit.
