Although my background is in science, it’s human nature that fascinates me. After university I went into educational psychology, and set up a ‘learn to learn’ business that evolved into leadership coaching. I found what I wanted to do when I discovered that far too many leaders never discover their leadership potential. A scientific background provides me with the rigor and method of a systems approach, often surprising people with accurate insights. Having experience in education and psychology enables me to quickly identify what a team or an individual needs
I’m a member of the International Coach Federation the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the British Psychological Society. Although the training included many coaching techniques (NLP, REBT, CBT), nowadays I work mostly with the 3 Principles approach, and the Thinking Environment (c). I work regularly as an executive coach and facilitator with leading consultancies as well as with Oxford University. My work with them has involved some of the world’s most famous names in IT, mobile phones, management consultancy, and courier services, as well as the world’s best-known business schools.
