ABOUT STRAIGHT UP TIMBER FRAME LIMITED
We are an independent company which provides an external timber frame design resource work to timber frame manufacturers throughout the UK.
Formed in 2007 Straight Up Timber Frame Ltd is a partnership between Gavin Armstrong and Andrew Hodgson. Between us, we have relevant qualifications and over 35 years experience in the industry.
We have the capacity and skills to provide designs for all your timber frame requirements.
We design open and closed wall panels, loose and cassette floors, trussed roofs, cut roofs and provide simple solutions to complex design issues. We can detail any steelwork associated with the timber frame supply.
We are happy to represent our customers up front, directly dealing with clients, architects and engineers. We are equally able to work in the back ground, dealing with our customers own design staff, engineers and project managers.
Straight Up Timber Frame Ltd uses AutoCAD and Consultec for the design and detailing of timber frame buildings, producing comprehensive cutting lists, manufacturing drawings for manual production along with direct links to industry standard automated machinery, saws and nailing lines.
