ABOUT JAMES LAYLAND TUTORS LIMITED
In 1993, James Layland graduated from Imperial College with a first class degree in Physics. A keen musician, he won the Sir Eric Ash Scholarship to study the flute at the Royal College of Music. He retains strong links with Imperial College and has helped numerous students gain places there.
Throughout his career in education, James’ passion for teaching has helped change the lives of a great many students - from young children through to university students and adults returning to education. Teaching Maths and Physics remains his passion and, over the years, James has clocked up over 30,000 hours of tutoring.
James offers private tuition and advice about education through his company ‘James Layland Tutors’. He also runs a home tutoring agency called
which provides high quality tutors throughout London.
