Founded in 2007 and with a current turnover of more than £37million, Caldwell Construction is an experienced and trusted supplier of groundworks and civil engineering services to contractors and developers in Counties throughout the Midlands and North West.
As well as being specialists in the construction of new infrastructure, carriageways and footpaths, Caldwell Construction hold the appropriate certification for sewer connections and undertakes excavation, ducting and reinstatement of all mains services within existing highways.
Caldwell Construction undertakes all types of groundworks for domestic and commercial properties for local and national developers. This includes earthworks, foundations, piling, masonry work, finished floors, path and drives.
We’re able to undertake works under our own F10 from the start of a development and also at the end to provide the finishing touches, specialising in hard landscaping for paths, patios and domestic driveways in block, stone, asphalt and loose stone.

To ensure that our policies and procedures are to the highest standard possible, we undertake regular reviews and updates and we have this audited by external bodies such as CHAS, SMAS and HSAS where we are certified as compliant under the SSIP Scheme.
As a business we have invested heavily in plant and machinery to ensure we have a reliable, efficient fleet of vehicles that enables us to meet our client environmental and productivity needs. These are maintained in house by a team of dedicated in house plant fitters.
We not only invest in plant but also in our staff, whereby numerous employees undertake further education to develop their careers within the business, many of whom take their site experience into both management and the office environment. One particular example is that of a young bricklayer who with the support of the Company undertook a Construction Management and Surveying degree and joined our team of engineers as a trainee, assisting in setting out and surveying duties.
Due to the continued growth from our Head Office based in Stoke on Trent, the business has opened a stand alone North West division based in Warrington, Cheshire where we have been successful in winning a number of tenders for new and existing clients.

All our employees hold CSCS or CPCS Cards or both to ensure they have the adequate training in health and safety in the work place. We are also a Chas Accredited Contractor
