In March 2011 the company was formed by two owners Gulliver Gray and Phil Claridge, both whom have spent many years running social care services for children and adults. A strategy and goals were agreed, to provide high quality domiciliary care services that puts customers and service users first.
To date, the directors and Management Team have achieved what they set out to do thus far and will continue to raise quality standards and work towards long terms objectives to be the provider of choice for both our customers and staff.
The company was first registered with CQC in Summer 2011 for domiciliary care services and opened a branch to serve the Peterborough City Council Region.
In September 2011 the company was awarded the contract by Peterborough City Council to provide Independent Living Services for adults with both learning and physical disabilities. The contract includes services such as Complex Care, Rapid Response and Reablement and Personal/Social Care services.
Since the company started delivering domiciliary care services it has enjoyed a consistent and stable growth that has resulted in not just meeting quality standards and expectations but exceeding them. Atlas Care Services pride itself on its reputation for providing a high quality and safe service to its customers and people that use its services.
Present day the company is providing more than 6000 hours per week, to more than 400 service users in both Peterborough & South Lincolnshire. The service has been given a clear bill of health by CQC from the beginning which is further backed by a recent Local Authority service review that tests and measures all systems, customers level of satisfaction, staff standards of working, achieving 94% for quality.

If you qualify for full or part funded service, the local authority will forward the case to the department to source a care provider from their approved list. Alternatively you may also apply for direct payments that could result in a personal budget being paid direct to the person using the service.
If you don't qualify for any funding by the local authority, they will provide a list of suggested providers that may be able to provide the services you need on a private basis. This would also apply to part private part LA funding arrangements.
Atlas Care Services is registered to provide domiciliary care services and the standard of services provided is monitored by the Care Quality Commission as well as local authorities we are commissioned by.

Our Care & Support worker local neighbourhood teams are compassionate, caring and understand the needs of our customers. Our Management team has a high level of training, knowledge and experience in delivering personalised and individually tailored domiciliary care services.
