CMC was formed in 2007 by Mike Wood. Mike’s background was initially from large Main Contractors prior to moving over to a PQS practice. His experience and skillset enabled us to service not only Developer Clients, but also to continue working with large Main Contractors. Over the past 9 years CMC has employed a number of individuals who have helped us grow to where we are today.

Our combined mix of both Developer and Contractor experience has given us the edge over many competitors in that we understand the needs of both. Because of our background we have continued to serve both sides. Our work with Contractors means we are constantly in touch with the market and live market rates; thus allowing us to advise Developer Clients with real time costs, which in today’s volatile market is essential.

Whether your project is in the South, the North, the East or the West we can assist. Although working predominantly in London and the South East, we have also been involved in projects as far up as Scotland. Therefore no matter where your project is, we are able to help.

We are very fortunate to have worked in many sectors of construction. These include a vast experience in Residential, Hotels, Retail, Health, Commercial and Leisure. In our 9-year history we have also been privileged to be involved in high profile projects such as the Olympics where we commercially managed £65m of Off-Park Overlay works in a period of 12 months. Our core business deals in projects ranging in value from £1m to £50m; however we have the ability to assist clients outside of this parameter.

Because we are not a large multidisciplinary practice we are able to ensure that each and every Client receives a personal service. Clients will have the personal contact details of a Director and the Director will attend all key Client meetings as required to ensure that the highest level of service is continually delivered.

Being a young, dynamic and 21st century business we pride ourselves in being flexible and able to adapt to our Clients’ needs. We ensure that we fully understand our Clients’ requirements and therefore fit into their mould rather than expecting them to align with us.
