Ask how long the effects of the treatment are meant to last. Ideally you are looking for a non-permanent treatment. Permanent treatments may contain synthetic substances which may lead to ridges and bumps forming under the skin, making it feel hard and not very natural.

A crystal clear sterile gel containing hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin. This nonanimal hyaluronic acid is a tissue-friendly substance closely resembling the hyaluronic acid that occurs naturally in the body. By replenishing nature’s supply of hyaluronic acid, the skin is left rejuvenated, instantly diminishing the appearance of lines and giving a softer look. They are injected into the skin in small amounts using a very fine needle. Yes, but they are not painful. Anaesthetic creams and injections numb the area to be treated and most people only experience mild discomfort. Applying an ice pack after the treatment will help calm the area.
As with all injections, some discomfort is inevitable, and you may feel a brief burning sensation at the injection site. An ice pack applied after the treatment can help to relieve this.
Your practitioner will use a Genuine Dermaroller™ medical device to produce thousands of micro-medical needle-columns in the skin. Each column will penetrate into the dermis of the skin and will be approximately 0.1mm in width. The column will close rapidly enabling the skin to recover quickly - often in the same day. Your practitioner will use a topical anaesthetic to numb the skin making the procedure comfortable; it will normally take up to 30 minutes for the topical anaesthetic to work and 20 - 30 minutes for the Genuine Dermaroller™ Therapy procedure.
Your practitioner may well apply Chiroxy Cream after the procedure to help soothe and calm the skin, continue to use until the redness has cleared.
Botulinum Toxin type A (Botox®) blocks the nerve transmission to the muscles under the skin. Facial lines formed by the dynamic action of underlying muscles will then diminish or disappear.
Not really, most people only experience a slight temporary discomfort. The needles used for injecting Vistabel ®(botox®) are very fine. Pain relief is not usually required but can be provided.
While wrinkle-relaxing treatments help smooth the wrinkles called Glabellar lines (little eleven lines) between your eyebrows, I might recommend other non-surgical treatments, such as Dermal fillers including Restylane/juvederm to address facial lines on other parts of the face, this way we can keep you looking your best.
