Our mixer refurbishment service has gone from strength to strength in recent years. We offer all levels of refurbishment work to cater to a very wide range of budgets. This service enables you to keep you mixer not only looking great, but operating like new aswell. As standard the mixer is stripped to a shell and removed from the chassis where all of the repairs, however big or small, are carried out. Then it is off to our onsite paint shop where every part is painted individually before going around to the next workshop to be rebuilt. We first came across Volumech in 2012. They were recommended to us by another company who were using them for their spare parts. We decided to give them a go for some parts for our mixers and haven’t look back since. The delivery is always punctual and the prices are very competitive. In 2015 we tasked them with the job of refurbishing our first mixer- a 2004 Cementech 10m150. They built us a new aggregate bin amongst a lot of other things and totally transformed the truck. To date we have had 4 mixers done by them and each and every one has been a fantastic job. The level of detail combined with some fresh ideas have made our working life a lot easier on a day to day basis.
We were first made aware of Volumech back in 2009 via a mail shot they had done. I invited James up to see me and see how we could work together. I found him very open with what they could, and couldn’t do at the time which gave me confidence straight away. As we started to build a relationship, I commissioned them with refurbishing a vehicle for me. The end result was fantastic- so much so, over the next 4 years they did 5 more for me to varying degrees, each one had new ideas whether small or big that I was over the moon with.

I knew James before he went self-employed back in 2009- infact it was with a slight nudge from me that he did it! With his background in HGV’s and plant machinery, he seemed a good candidate to help us with our very first mixer. Back then I found him very enthusiastic and willing to help and to date nothing has changed. Our businesses have grown together and I now run 12 mixers, a mix of new and older machines- 2 of which Volumech has supplied us fully refurbished and mounted to brand new chassis’. With Volumech close to us, we know we have all the backup we will need on both new and old machines with them only a call away.
