Xibit is the brainchild of our Managing Director, Ian Berry. He started Xibit Ltd back in 2007. Xibit Web Design was spun out of Xibit Ltd as web design was Ian’s passion and the market where Xibit previously concentrated its business was badly affected by the current economic climate.
People often ask where the name Xibit came from. The best way to explain is to first break Xibit in to three sections, ‘X’, ‘ib’ and ‘it’. In reverse order the ‘it’ comes from Information Technology, the market where Xibit focused its business. ‘ib’ are the initials of our MD, Ian Berry. Then finally the ‘X’ was added ‘to make it sound cool’, to quote Ian.
We are able to complete the design and build of everything from brochure sites to full ecommerce sites. If needed this can include CMS, custom photography or even a fully custom feature using Javascript, AJAX, PHP, MySQL.
In addition to millions of royalty free stock images from numerous Internet sites. Xibit offers a custom photography service that will complement any web design.

The vast majority of websites designed by Xibit will include a content management system free of charge. This means the content of the site can be updated securely and easily without the need for understanding any web page mark up language and will automatically be formatted in to a design that matches the rest of your site. It’s as easy as writing an email or writing a Word document.
