The Handcrafted Card Company Ltd - established 2007
As the business grew we needed more space than a home studio could offer so we made the move to our first premises in 2008, the former Smithy on the Duchy of Lancaster Estate near Crewe. An update to our website followed.
Our products find their way to creative couples and all types of wedding businesses from wedding stationers, event planners, through to florists, wedding jewellers and bakers, and many more, with inspiring products for card making, wedding invitations and wedding styling.
As we advised customers on our ‘tricks of the trade’ it became the greater part of what we do. Now, rather than create stationery ourselves, we continue to innovate and inspire with our vast array of products.
Two removal vans later (who knew ‘The Smithy’ held so much) over one weekend we were safely operating form our new abode. Within two months of moving we were commissioned to make a commemorative butterfly bouquet for Her Majesty The Queen.
