Nigel Appleton is the Executive Chairman of Contact Consulting, a specialist research and consultancy practice he originally established in 1995. The focus of his work is at the intersection of health, housing and social care; with a particular interest in the housing and care needs of older people and in services to enhance the independence and quality of life of disabled people and other vulnerable adults.
Steve Appleton is the Managing Director of Contact Consulting. He has over twenty-five years experience in health and social care. He originally trained as a social worker and worked with adults with learning disability, older people and subsequently specialised in mental health. His experience is comprised of operational, strategic and development roles in local authorities and the NHS.
