Stanley George has been established since 1960 in St. Michaels, Tenterden.
The shop stocks a broad range of products to fulfill the needs of both the keen DIYer and professional tradesperson, and we are on hand to help and give advice where possible. Whether it is plumbing or electrical, tools or timber, paint or cement, you can be pretty sure that we will have it in stock.
We are constantly adding to our range of both hand and power tools and we also stock some of the more unusual items not found in many workshops or tool bags... If there is a particular tool you are looking for then check out our online website that has over 20,000 product lines. You can order to have the goods delivered direct or alternatively make a list of those items you need and we can order to have delivered to the shop for you to collect.
At Stanley George we stock the top brands in paints and finishes. We carry a comprehensive range to meet the most demanding of applications. And with our three paint mixing machines we can match most branded colour swatches. We are able to mix Natural Trust Blends which are used by the likes of Farrow & Ball, Sandersons, Little Green Paint etc.
Knobs, knockers, hinges, brackets and all other types of ironmongery can be found in our Architectural Dept. We have years of knowledge behind us and are ever expanding the range of products we keep in stock.
Security is often ignored until a sharp realisation after the event. We have in stock locks that meet insurance company approval to BS3621. We also have many varies of padlocks, chains, bike and window locks, and of course we also cut most types of keys etc (including non transponder car keys).
We are happy to give advice on your security requirements.
