In 1993/94 I (Andrew Davis, founder) first set off on my first around the world adventure traversing Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay then onto Oz and New Zealand with Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and China bringing up the rear (and what a rear!) Another world jaunt ensued in 2002, this time taking in East Africa (Eritrea, Ethiopia, Zanzibar, Tanzania, Madagascar, Mozambique, Swaziland and South Africa) with the enchanting countries of Indochina following I've since visited many other nations on shorter visits with Buenos Aires and Battambang vying for my hearts content
We are just back from an enjoyable 2 weeks holiday visiting Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam,organised by Globe At One (Andrew Davis). There were many thrills during our trip to Vietnam but a particular one was the friendly reception that we received during our visit to an ordinary non touristy pub in Hanoi to which I have to give glowing thanks to Globe at One in recommending such a spot to eat! They were attentive and accessible all through the planning of our trip.
We spotted Globe at One's advert in the national press and contacted them for information on a trip to Laos and Cambodia. Andrew produced an itinerary, which we asked him to tweak a little, and a couple of months later we were on our way.
