Global Relocations will do everything possible to ensure that your household effects arrive safely at their respective destination; however it is important to highlight that your effects are exposed to risk and therefore it is advisable that you consider the Shipping Insurance protection we offer you for your goods. Our Insurance policy offers protection to the full destination replacement value of your shipment. Cover commences from receipt of your goods until delivery to residence or store or within 60 days following the vessel’s discharge, whichever is earliest.
Shipping Insurance protects against loss or damage and commences on our receipt of your written valuation of your goods on the form we provide, and your payment of an additional charge based on the valuation. Standard Liability protection is subject to our
Shipping Insurance covering Owner Packed belongings is available at a rate of 5% of the full destination replacement value as indicated by you on the Valuation Form we provide you with. Failure to include the full replacement value will result in you only being able to recover part of your claim from the insurers.
Insurance covering goods fully Professionally Packed (generally household removal shipments packed by us), is available at a rate of 3% of the full destination replacement value as indicated by you on the Valuation Form we provide you with. Failure to include the full replacement value will result in you only being able to recover part of your claim from the insurers.
Please note that jewellery, watches, trinkets, precious stones, money, deeds, securities, stamps, manuscripts or other documents, wines, spirits, and tobacco are not insurable. We are not able to carry animals or foodstuffs of any kind on our service.

Depending on your destination this can vary between two to 10 weeks, provided that we have received all of your correctly completed forms AND a copy of the picture page of your passport.
It is important for us to have some contact details. If you have a family member at destination, then provide their details. Otherwise, it would be useful to provide your employer’s contact details.
Why do I need to provide so much information for a car quote?
The more information we receive, the more accurate our quote will be. The RORO service is calculated on the volume of your vehicle, so we will need to know the dimensions before confirming our rates.
