Another lovely holiday booked through Cottages.com. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Torquay. David, the owner, was really friendly and they made sure the cottage had everything we needed, including a hair drier which I requested. The heated towel rail was a real bonus with all the wet clothes we had due to lots of mud on our walks and paddling in the sea!The girls loved playing in the garden where we could keep an eye on them from the cottage. We asked about a laundry room and David said this was something on his list to add to their development, alongside more outdoor play equipment. We recommend taking the lower car ferry across to Dartmouth and then driving to Blackpool Sands. Paignton Zoo was lovely too, with lots to keep the children entertained and had a good walk in Haldon Forest following the Gruffalo trail. Definitely recommend the Woks Cook Inn Chinese take-away on Barton Hill Road for anyone who is Gluten intolerant as they were extremely helpful.
