Masterwork Graphic Equipment Limited was established in 1971 in Taiwan. Through our efforts over the past 40 years, it has now become a group of companies consisting of several subsidiaries in the business of manufacturing machine parts and graphic arts equipment, as well as international sales. We were the only manufacturer of graphic arts equipment in China and Taiwan that exhibited its products at Drupa in 1990.
Due to our continuous striving for the improvement and development of products, as well as customer service, we have become one of the leading manufacturer of folding carton equipment. We have been recognized as the manufacturer with the most advanced technology. In addition to the domestic market, MK equipment is also export to Europe, North America, Oceania, as and other Asian countries. In 2003 our cutters and foil stamps received certifications of CE safety standards.
The core business is the manufacture of die-cutting and hot foil stamping machines for the printing and packaging industry. More recent developments have been folder gluers up to 1000mm in width and a new double platen hot foil stamping and die-cutting press capable of producing accurately foiled and die-cut cartons in one pass al speeds of up to 5,000 sheets per hour.
The new premises in Wakefield has full demonstration facilities where clients will be able to see foiling and die-cutting equipment, plus folder gluers with in line creasing for producing greetings cards. The management team is lead by Ken Farnsworth who will be responsible for business development and European sales along with Jack Chen who is responsible for the technical and service department.
Masterwork Graphic Equipment (UK) Ltd is looking to conduct operations at its location to meet an ever-growing level of demand for post printing equipment machinery products. The company’s initial product offering will include the “Automatic Platen Foil Stamping and Die cutting Press,” “Automatic Platen Die cutting Press,” and “Automatic Folder Gluer.” These products are expected to be very popular among Printing Finish companies because of their versatility and accurate control capabilities. Strong contact relationships and referral networks among Printing Finish construction company owners are expected to allow for a rapid entry into this market.
