With nearly 30 years experience in Financial Services, Robert established Chartwell Funding in January 2007 and has steered the business through numerous ups and downs in the financial markets. Robert still enjoys the buzz of helping his clients find a solution to their borrowing needs and thrives on helping second generation clients get on the property ladder. In his spare time Robert is a keen sports fan and enjoys trying new food.
Mark has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry and joined Chartwell Funding in 2015 as Sales Director, tasked with growing the Company’s reputation in the emerging markets. Having spent over 12 years working for one of the largest mortgage brokers in the country, Mark has used this experience to grow our offering in the New Build and Affordable homes sector of the market, whilst improving our profile in the High Net Worth and specialist areas (bridging and commercial finance). Outside of work Mark is a keen football fan and enjoys spending time with his family.
Duncan qualified as mortgage advisor whilst playing professional rugby for Bath and England. After retiring in 2013 he joined Chartwell Funding to develop his knowledge and experience of all types of mortgages. As Chartwell Funding’s Sales Manager Duncan divides his time between advising clients and maintaining corporate relationships with introducers. Away from the office Duncan now enjoys watching rugby, playing golf and spending time with his family.
Amy has been in the mortgage industry since 2011 and is the Office Manager at Chartwell Funding. She is responsible for the day to day running of the administration team, assisting Robert and Magdalena with their clients and also acts as the Buildings and Contents expert for the business. Amy and her team’s goal is to provide all our clients with excellent customer service and to make the mortgage process as stress-free as possible. In her spare time Amy enjoys travelling, photography, walking her dog and bakes cakes to relax.
Matthew has over 16 years’ experience in the financial services industry and is part of the advisory team at Chartwell Funding. Whilst Matthew specialises in Shared Ownership mortgages, he loves the challenge of the variety of clients we cater for at Chartwell Funding and has a passion for bridging loans, commercial lending as well as ‘normal’ mortgages. When he’s not at work Matthew likes spending time with his family, watching sport and making home-brewed cider.
Ilona has been working in financial services for 4 years and is part of the advisory team. Ilona prides herself on going the extra mile for her clients and looks to build a long lasting relationship with her clients to help them deal with ever changing market conditions. In her spare time Ilona likes travelling and spending time with her family and friends all over the world. She also enjoys long walks with her dog.
Magda has over 5 years experience in financial services and is part of the advisory team at Chartwell Funding. In her role as Mortgage and Protection adviser she prides herself at providing her clients with professional advice and building long-term relationships. Magda is studying to complete her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and outside of work she turns to baking, gardening or reading to relax and running half marathons when she fancies a challenge.
Kerry has been working at Chartwell Funding since 2016 and is a member of the administration team. Kerry normally works alongside Matthew, Ilona and Keran to help process applications through to offer and completion. In her free time she likes to listen to music, spend time with her friends and go shopping.
Elizabeth has been working for Chartwell Funding since April 2017 and is part of the administration team. She works closely with Duncan, Andy, Tim, and Keith to help their clients applications get offered and completed as quickly and seamlessly as possible. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, going on road trips and walking her dog.
