Prior to that he was a Management Consultant working on Pan European implementation projects. Umesh is a Prince 2 Project Management practitioner. When completing his MBA Umesh carried out research on how to maximise the effectiveness of cross cultural and virtual teams. Umesh is a member of the Chartered Management Institute and also a partner at the London Innovation Centre where he is working with dynamic companies from China and Korea who want to establish a market for their products in the UK.
Since 2005 Umesh has been a Trustee of the Vegetarian Society of the UK a medium sized registered charity that provides educational and training services. He is also active in his local community and stood for council in 2006.

Barbara is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, having qualified with the accountancy firm Ernst & Young.
