During this time he quickly climbed the career ladder and soon progressed from estimating to take the role of Production Manager.
In 1995 he became a Director working primarily on the commercial side of the business before promotion to Managing Director.
Richard’s ultimate career goal was reached in 2006 when, with the launch of Nottingham Trade Finishers he finally became his own boss! He now has a new goal in continuing the success and progressi
on of the business.
Ian Holt – Production Manager
It was during this time he developed the ability of mastering the production of unusual and challenging designs. Ian became a shift supervisor at Gemini in 1995 and became a member of the management team in 2003.
With many years of ‘hands on’ print finishing expertise behind him, Ian worked with Richard and Emma to launch Nottingham Trade Finishers in 2006, and now takes the role of Production Manager.
Emma’s career in the industry began in 1993 when employed at Howitt Printing and carried her through to working as Assistant to the Production Director at The Sherwood Press for 4 years before settling for several years at Romo Fabrics working in Pattern Book Production which enabled her to see ‘the other side of the fence’ in a print buying and co-ordinating role.
Since the launch of Nottingham Trade Finishers in 2006, Emma has overseen the HR, Finance and Business Management areas of the business.
Nottingham Trade Finishers was launched by Managing Director Richard Anstock, and Production Manager Ian Holt in 2006. They now share over 50 years of industry experience and expertise between them.
