ABOUT US AND OUR PHILOSOPHY
A small, but energetic company in the heart of Windsor, England, which is dedicated to the interests of quality wine. The company prides itself on its ability to import wonderful wines from vineyards that are sometimes too small or too specialised to be considered by the bigger wine shippers.
Founded by Clive Stanton, Eton Vintners has continuously been providing fine wines at very competitive prices to Windsor and beyond for the past 25 years. Clive founded the company to offer a more personalised service to our customers and a better selection of products than can be found at the larger wine chains and supermarkets. The business has grown and now we are proud to offer a wide selection of over 600 different wines from around the world, including wines imported from quality smaller vineyards that are perhaps under-represented by the bigger wine shippers, as well as iconic wines of different vintages. We are also pleased always to be able to offer our customers older wines by the single bottle, whereas many suppliers will often only sell these wines by the case. We have also have an extensive hamper and gift service, as well as a wine finder service, available through the year.
Clive has been in the wine business for over 30 years having worked and studied in Switzerland and France. He has been a supplier to major local restaurants as well as opening several wine shops across the years. The on-line business is of particular interest to Clive. He has travelled extensively throughout the world to better his understanding of wine. Recent field trips have included South Africa, Chile, California, Portugal, Lebanon, Spain, Italy and St Barthelemy. Clive is of course a regular visitor to France.
