Knowles Transport – Haulage Company
Knowles Transport would like to commend all the fantastic companies that it works with on a daily basis for all of their support and help, that enables it to deliver its complex range of services. Alex would like to give special thanks to Whiting & Partners, who is Knowles’ longest standing service providers, having worked with Knowles for the last 60 years. Their accountancy service and advice have kept Knowles in good stead for a long period and allowed us to continue to reinvest and grow our business on sound accountancy advice. Long may our relationship reign.
Whitings have looked after our shop business for many years, helping with payroll, VAT and general taxes. They always have an eye on improving the business for the future.
When advised that we had found a further opportunity to reclaim CIS tax through his P35 return, the director of a builder client commented “It’s great to know I made the right choice in choosing your company to take care of my accounts.
Managing Director of a Translations Company
I would strongly recommend Whiting & Partners. The partner responsible for my affairs has been exceptionally helpful in matters which have covered a broad range of business areas. Hi sopen and friendly manner is a breath of fresh air.
I have always found Whiting & Partners helpful, reliable and always willing to discuss problems and advise on the best procedure.
Managing Director of and Educational Video Production Company
Whiting & Partners were absolutely marvellous when I set up my new business. Everything was done for me, leaving me only to sign at the ‘Xs’. I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the whole process and, whats more, the fees were very reasonable. No wonder I went back to get the VAT and tax sorted out. Problems with the VAT and tax, what problems? Whiting & Partners have taken care of all those.
As an engineering manager, I started my own consultancy business ten years ago, with my wife as co-director. Whiting & Partners guided us in setting up the day to day accounting systems, which even the smallest company has to have, and have since looked after the annual accounts and tax matters. This, combined with the help that they have given with our personal tax affairs, has allowed us to concentrate on the marketing and technical sides of our business, and undoubtedly saved us money. We find them professional, practical and accessible.
For the past 3 years we have has our accounts independently examined, and recently audited, by Whiting & Partners. We have found them to be thoroughly professional in all the financial matters associated with our charity. Their understanding of both company and charity regulations is beyond any form of reproach. The report to out Board of Directors is always very clear and the understanding of getting reports to the Charity Commissioners and Companies House is always first class. We would not dream of looking elsewhere for our accounts to be audited. They are part of a winning team, for which our Board of Directors are very grateful.
In the years that you and your colleagues have acted as my accountants, a professional service has developed into a valued friendship and source of financial advice and guidance. I have also particularly valued the informal business networking service that you have provided by putting me in touch with other businesses where you have thought mutual interests could benefit. In both service and professional terms, this has really been the extra mile.
Our fees are computed on the basis of time spent on your affairs and assignments by the principals and our staff/consultants, on the levels of skill and responsibility involved and on the importance and value of the advice that we provide, as well as the level of risk. Disbursements represent travel, accommodation and other expenses incurred in dealing with your affairs and will be added to our fees notes where appropriate.
These typical charge-out rates applicable (excluding VAT) may be amended from time to time in the future; we will be pleased to supply details of current rates upon request. We will be pleased upon request to provide an estimate of the likely costs involved before commencement of work or any assignment.
Because no two clients, or businesses, or book-keeping systems are the same, neither are the levels of our fees. We offer potential new clients a free initial consultation. At this meeting, once we have fully understood your circumstances, your plans and what accountancy services you require, we will be pleased to provide a fee quote in advance.
