Dovetail Care has been a family run business for 16 years now. I joined the business 8 years ago as Managing Director and I wanted to provide the highest quality care possible. Quite simply, I wanted Dovetail Care to be the best social care provider in the Leeds area. I think we have achieved this, but we can't stand still. The industry is ever changing and with the serious lack of funding in social care at the moment, it's a tough industry to be in. But we are here to make a difference to people's lives at a time when they need help the most, and we will continue to try and achieve this despite the challenges we face.
I recently joined the company to work full-time in the office team. It's nice to work for a family owned business with a focus on our clients and providing the best service to them. I was a qualified nurse and I can put that knowledge and experience to good use at Dovetail Care.
I joined the company 7 years ago as a Care Assistant. I previously worked for another care provider but I was not happy there and had heard of Dovetail Care’s fantastic reputation, so I decided to move to them. I love providing care to our clients and I love seeing the difference I make to their lives. With that in mind, despite now working in the office full time as an administrator, I also work part time providing care and managing our emergency on call service out of office hours.
