Our senior technicians and craftsmen each have 20 years experience or more in the industry. We know that finding out, for example, whether you intend to sell your car after it has been repaired, or if your car is your pride and joy, can tell us plenty about the type of job you need.

When your vehicle first rolled off the production line, the paint was 'baked' in industrial ovens. To ensure the same high level of finishing when we repair the paintwork on your vehicle we installed not one but two low bake ovens in our accident repair centre one for cars and the other for light commercial vehicles as well as cars. Our low bake ovens ensure a controlled and dust-free environment, quicker and better quality spraying and constant dry times.

Motts has been established over 10 years and our senior technicians each have 20 years or more experience. To date the majority of our trade has been built on word of mouth as we are the only independent car body repair shop in Colchester.
Motts Body Repairs is based at Horkesley Hill, located in Nayland, just outside of Colchester, Essex. We regularly deal with a wide range of vehicle body repairs with customers from the Essex, Suffolk, Hertfordshire & Cambridgeshire areas, as well as much further afield.
We are located just six miles to the north of Colchester on the A134 and are within easy reach of Ipswich, Sudbury and Halstead.

Because we are independent we are uniquely placed to give you the best experience in the event of an accident. You may not realise it, but as the policy holder you have complete control over who repairs your vehicle, not your insurer.
