This is normally a mixture of fixed and variable fees. The variable element is dependent upon the successful outcome of a particular assignment). Contingency based is usually transaction based, for example raising finance, claiming tax or the sale of a business.

David Stonefield is a graduate in Economics and Accounting, with a professional accountancy background as a partner in a firm of Chartered Accountants and as a company accountant in industry. Today he provides accountancy services to SMEs and individuals through the South Manchester area, Heald Green, Cheadle, Stockport, Hazel Grove, Hyde, Manchester, East Didsbury and Blackburn,
Wide business knowledge
Specialising in the production of management accounts and in ensuring that his clients pay as little tax as they need to, David worked with a wide variety of businesses: from industry to professional healthcare; retail to charity accounts within the community; and corporate and personal taxation.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Institute’s tax faculty, David is a member of the SK8 Business Club, the 2020 Group of Accountants, and a Sage Accountant.
He ran his own successful accountancy practice in Stockport for many years. He has advised a wide range of businesses giving them practical business and tax advice.
Lionel works on special assignments and is available at short notice to help with clients who need assistance on business valuations, planning, business plans and short term assistance.
He has business experience working for Shell, Granada and Wedgwood.
Mark will usually meet with the client on a monthly basis reviewing progress with agreed actions and giving guidance and help as and when required all with the aim of the business keeping an eye of their strategic aims rather than being overcome by day to day needs. He will also be available for short term consultancy and assistance on start-ups.
