Contract Floors is a well-established, family run company, whose founder and director, Richard Atherton has over 38 years of experience in the flooring industry. Although we have grown over the years, we like to feel that we have retained our original values of supplying and installing high quality products, whilst offering professional service and advice.
Contract Floors Ltd is built on a background of flooring ancestors with Richard, being a third-generation flooring specialist and director, Lily Webb, fourth generation. Together they lead and work alongside a team of specialists in all areas of flooring installation and management.
We are primarily a commercial flooring company working for a wide range of both private and public sector clients. These include local authorities, NHS Trusts, colleges, schools, hospitals, hotels, charities, construction companies and nurseries. We also have several ongoing contracts with local housing authorities. Our work ranges from small one-off jobs and contracts, up to £1 million flooring contracts and partnership works, as part of £5 million building projects. This is expanding year on year.
We have always been based in Blackpool, and in 2011 we expanded further, moving to our current premises with warehousing, office and showroom, at the easily accessible Whitehills Business Park.
We have in excess of 2600 square feet of warehousing space located alongside a newly refurbished suite of offices, a conference room and parking facilities. Having our facilities based on the same premises helps to facilitate communication between departments and improve efficiency for our customers.
