Tilt Recruitment started life as Opus IT Consulting in 2005 when it was launched by our directors, Hannah Bentham and Claire Ashberry. We have an unrivalled level of industry knowledge with over 115 years of combined experience. Our team are genuine specialists with real hands-on experience in the sector and we’ve recruited for almost every job in the industry from web developers to IT support engineers.
Our directors, Claire and Hannah have been with the business since its inception in 2005. Together they have a wealth of knowledge in IT and have grown Tilt into one of the North West’s leading recruitment companies.
We’ve always loved recruitment and been driven to add value and a deliver quality service to clients and candidates alike. Back in 2005, a client suggested we could make more of a difference by setting up on our own as we would be free to operate without the constraints of sales business models and KPIs... So, to cut a long story short, we did. And we've never looked back since.
By taking care of our clients and candidates needs and treating each one as an individual is the key to our success. We're able to focus on what really matters. Building productive partnerships and using our experience and expertise to place the right people in the right roles.
As with Hannah, Claire is also hugely hands on in the business and balances this with growing and managing the company. She is hugely proud of what the company has achieved to date and excited at the prospect of taking the business to the next level under the guise of Tilt Recruitment.
Hannah has been working in recruitment since she graduated in 1999 with a a BA (Hons) degree in Psychology and Criminology. Whereas Claire is technically minded, Hannah specialises in the business side of IT recruitment, working on roles such as project managers and business analysts.
She is still very much hands on and juggles growing the business with the day-to-day fulfilment of roles. Hannah believes it’s important to do this so she keeps abreast of the challenges and trends within the industry.

Simon has 22 years recruitment experience within IT Service Provider (MSP) / MS Gold Partner environments.
Emma has worked in recruitment for over six years, and previously studied Business with Criminology at Chester University.
Emma joined Tilt Recruitment in May 2017 to head up our Information Security and Cyber Security division and now recruits specifically within the IT Security Industry as this is where she has a genuine interest, particularly GDPR!

If you want to work within a dynamic IT Service Desk environment providing quality 1st Line and 2nd Line Technical Support / Support Analyst / Helpdesk / Service Desk expertise then you need to seriously consider this opportunity.
With an emphasis on providing a quality customer experience you will be responsible for providing 1st line support, 2nd line support and business user system support for sites across the UK. Quality best practices are promoted to ensure excellent customer service is delivered so you will be working with the best delivering the best!
The ideal person will already be working within a support desk or service desk environment providing Helpdesk and technical support expertise. Technically you will have a broad range of skills within a Microsoft Windows desktop environment including Windows 7, Office 2010, Active Directory and some knowledge of Windows server 2008 and 2012. This experience doesn’t necessarily have to be in depth as training can be given and the emphasis is on delivering exceptional customer service however experience of troubleshooting within a Helpdesk / Service Desk Windows environment is essential.
