Boat Electricals has always been a family business. The company was formed by Immanuel Craig whose father was a commercial fisherman. Now the business is run by an equally enthusiastic group of people with a background in boats and electrical equipment.
Over the years many new marine electrical products were introduced to the range and by 2005 the company was selling several hundred lines and so much more than just lighting. So the company name was changed to Boat Electricals Limited and the first web site was launched.
As climate change has become one of the most pressing issues of our age, we have been rising to that challenge as well. From the outset, energy saving has been our reason for being and increasingly it’s the corresponding ecological benefits that matter most. The Boat Electricals team is now striving more than ever to introduce new eco-friendly products to our range and to find ways to improve or substitute existing lines.
