At Ivelhurst Nursing Home, our main aim is to provide our service users with a homely and safe environment, in which they can maintain their rights, privacy and independence, taking into account their physical and mental wellbeing.
Our team of dedicated staff will provide service users with an environment suitable for developing other attributes, to compensate for any loss of physical or mental function, to reduce as much as possible the rate of deterioration and to encourage the development of positive self-image and awareness in all service users.
We provide continuous training and a system of support for staff, to enable them to understand the physical and emotional demands placed upon them throughout their work.
The home facilities include three lounges, a large dining room, and a well-equipped activities room. Bathrooms and shower room facilities, are provided in the service users own accommodation. Aids, hoists, assisted toilets and specialist baths are installed within the home, these facilities are capable of meeting the assessed needs of the service user. Call systems with an accessible alarm are provided in every room.
Our reliable cooks create tasty and nutritionally balanced food every day using fresh ingredients. We cater for a range of dietary requirements, including food intolerances, cholesterol reduction and we're available for any residents who experience difficulty with eating and drinking.

We provide short term care and ongoing support to help you recover after surgery or an illness, or when your usual carer is unavailable.
Ivelhurst Nursing Home is situated close to Yeovil town center, and within walking distance of Yeovil District Hospital. The front of the house leads to the car park at the rear of the Home.
