Burwell Pheasantries Ltd is committed to providing our customers with the healthiest Pheasant and Partridge Poults and Day Olds. All our chicks are put into pre-heated 8 x 8 sheds, with night shelters and grass pens as they are all grass reared, with plenty of fresh air. Rearing using this method makes for more hard work, however, we've found through our 40 years of experience this makes for a hardier bird.
We are a small family-run game farm, located just a short drive from Spilsby in Lincolnshire. Anne and Pete first started the business in 1985 this was after Pete had had a long successful career as a game keeper first at Tumby near Coningsby and then at Well Vale near Alford, both in Lincolnshire. They were, in time joined by Peter their son who also after being a gamekeeper at Wintringham Estate N.Yorks, joined the family business. Pete and Peter's experience in gamekeeping, has given them invaluable experience and extensive knowledge of the shooting world.
