Based in Kidlington, near Oxford, we are an independent, privately-owned kitchen design studio with a reputation for excellent design and quality workmanship at the right price.

Designer Richard Miles, who bought out Benchmark in 2005, has taken the company from strength-to-strength with his passion for innovative and contemporary design, and an upfront and honest approach to his clients. Much of our business comes from recommendations, with repeat business from high-quality developers who want something that extra bit special and appreciate the personal touch that we offer.

Your designer will be on hand throughout the project and can also help with arranging building works and other interior design elements such as lighting, flooring, tiling and funky furniture if required. With our very competitive prices and high-quality kitchen furniture, which carries a ten-year guarantee, clients have a package which is second to none. Here at Benchmark the philosophy is that if the design is right from the start, then a smooth installation, beautiful, and user-friendly kitchen will follow.

Richard was so helpful with coming up different ideas. Nothing was too much when we kept changing the type of worktop. His eye for detail was impeccable with making sure everything lined up.
