ABOUT BON COEUR FINE WINES LIMITED
Yorkshireman, James Goodhart started Bon Coeur Fine Wine in 1994 aged 24. Now with over 21 years trading, the company is one of the UK’s leading independent wine merchants supplying wine to private households, corporates, events and leading hotels, restaurants and pubs throughout the UK.
Over the years the business has developed a reputation amongst private, trade and corporate customers for providing quality wine at good prices.
The wine list has tremendous depth, selling everyday drinking wines, Champagne and port, to the specialisation of Burgundy and Bordeaux En Primeur wine. Employing over 18 members of staff, the business is family run and now based at state of the art premises based just outside Melsonby, minutes from the A1 at Scotch Corner, North Yorkshire.
As a truly independent merchant the company holds no agencies and is therefore able to buy the best wines in the best vintages. The company regularly buys wine direct from the Producers and imports wine direct from all over the world.
Managing Director, James Goodhart, has over the years built strong relationships with the international wine markets and has a particular passion for investment wines, building up some impressive wine cellars, selling En Primeur wine and broking private client cellars.
