ABOUT BURGTEC LIMITED

Burgtec was born out of our passion/obsession for downhill racing as the strap line says it’s a labour of love. The hours that we have collectively spent working and developing Burgtec, doesn’t even bare thinking about. But when your passionate about something you know the lengths you will go to succeed.

We believe in quality over quantity we’re not about producing mass amounts of components and flooding the market with them. We are concerned with making a change whether it is flat pedals that exceed expectation or wider handlebars that give that extra width you need or just making superior products. We aim to break the mould and extract every technical advantage possible to claim every second possible.

You will find Burgtec racing every weekend at the regionals the nationals and most definitely the world cups our pedigree is in racing and that’s where are components earn their stripes. What’s even more impressive is riders like Nathan Rennie and Josh Bryceland competing with the worlds best on Burgtec components. There feedback is mind-blowing and makes all the hours spent working on Burgtec worth while.

We’ve been going for little over 3 years. We started off from humble beginnings and this might seem to be bit of a cliche but we’re not in it for the money, we’re in it simply because we are passionate about racing Mountain bikes.
