Cherish UK Ltd provides support to people who have reduced ability to care for themselves. We assist them to stay living at home - close to loved ones, family and their local community.
Cherish UK was established in May 2005 by Wendy Watson. Having worked to help other care companies develop and grow Wendy felt that there was something missing from most care services.
She wanted to create a care company that put the needs of its clients at the forefront of every decision the organisation made. Before ‘person centred care planning’ became common place within the care industry, Wendy wanted to create a service that truly cared about the wellbeing of its clients, their hopes and dreams, to enable them to flourish within their own communities.
There is no compromise in the standard of care provided by Cherish UK, at all times only the best is acceptable. Our aims have always been to:

After 12 years of consistently good CQC reports and steady growth Cherish UK now provides care services across the North of England. Over the years Cherish UK has built excellent working relationships with local authorities and commissioning bodies including; Birmingham Council, Blackpool Borough Council, Blackpool and Lancashire NHS, Lancashire County Council, Manchester Council, Oldham Council, Rochdale Council, Warrington and Wigan Borough Council.
Cherish UK has seen steady growth in both size and reputation, and is one of the leading care services providers across the North of England. Our services now include a diverse range of home care and support services; reablement / transitional services; residential children’s homes and specialist care provisions.
Feeling like there was still more that could be done to help and support our clients and other people within our community, the team at Cherish UK has created The Cherish Life Foundation Community Interest Company (CIC). The Cherish Life Foundation is a not for profit community interest group that raises money to provide our clients with ‘that little bit extra’ that is so often missed from a traditional care package; a volunteer who will come and read to a client; a trip to bingo with a group of friends; parties and social gatherings that enable people to get together whilst receiving the support they need. It’s about providing our clients with that little booster to make them smile.
