About AA Thornton Jewellers of Kettering
AA Thornton was established 109 years ago in 1909 in Kettering by Arthur Augustus Thornton. Arthur originally trained as a watchmaker in Birmingham before setting up in Market Street Kettering where in the early years he could be seen repairing watches in his shop window.
Over the 100 years of family ownership the business has expanded and moved into larger premises in the Kettering High Street. For the last 10 years business has been run by Arthur�s Great Granddaughter Sally.
Sally is passionate about Jewellery and has embraced the current bead revival with enthusiasm. thorntonbeads.co.uk has been established as a result of requests from regular customers who appreciate the quality of Trollbeads and AA Thornton�s drive and ambition to provide the highest quality of service.
