At Espresso Web we strongly believe in supporting the local community and helping in any way we can. In recent times we’ve had the pleasure of supporting a number of charities in Middlesbrough and across the North East.
Autism Initiatives work to a strength based model, always considering what each individual CAN do and what their personal preferences are. Their aim is to provide choice, ownership, independence and dignity for all service users. Autism Initiatives Middlesbrough Hub – a vital service supporting adults with autism and their families locally will be the sole and direct beneficiary of this partnership. As a founder member of the Autism Alliance, Autism Initiatives is a highly regarded Autism-specific organisation - delivering unique services and personalised opportunities to adults, children and families. Autism Initiatives was founded in 1971 by Pat Minshull - a proud parent of a child with Autism and an advocate for increased awareness, more understanding and better Autism-specific services within the area of Merseysideand beyond. Today, the organisation remains parent-led, directly delivering support to over 3,000 individuals diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Conditions
Espresso Web aim to provide ongoing support for Autism Initiatives. Every penny we make during these events will be donated to the local charity, positioned just 2 doors away from ourselves.
“Who wouldn’t want to support a local charity like Autism Initiatives? The work they do is simply amazing, providing care and support to people who struggle from the day to day effects of Autism.” “We took the time to visit them (next door but one) and meet the faces behind the charity. After just a few short minutes inside the building, we could see they were in need of support. A lot of the equipment that gets used is broken but they can’t afford to replace them. This is just one of the reasons why we are choosing to support Autism Initiatives moving forward.” - David Williams, SEO Manager @ Espresso Web
Every year Cash for Kids raises thousands of pounds through innovative fundraising events and activities, available for all to participate in. They encourage individuals, groups, schools and companies to jump on board and join the fun by offering a helping hand to disadvantaged children in the local community. We are just one of the many companies who have become very fond of the charity work TFM commit to on a regular basis.
“We made a commitment that day to support wherever possible the efforts of Cash4Kids, and with every campaign they create, we will throw our all into helping children and young people not so fortunate in our region. ” - Stephen Robinson, Director @ Espresso Web
We seek to provide as much support as possible for TFM Cash for Kids by participating in their fundraising events. The money we make will be donated to an excellent cause and we will have fun along the way. We have already supported TFM Cash for Kids in their Christmas and Easter fundraising ambitions (Christmas 2015 and Easter 2016).
