Having been appointed by a high profile Brand, who was concerned that their current single source print solution presented them with a potential single point of failure in a business critical area of their organisation, we were able to provide the client with an independent executable plan that ensured that this potential risk was removed. In achieving this we profiled the current and planned spend and matched it to the manufacturing capacity within the UK and European printing industry, delivering a strong assessment of risk and where necessary a commitment to capacity by supporting suppliers.
At Blue Buffalo we are experts at analysing print contracts and ensuring that, you the customer, are seeing the full unbiased picture of how your contract is performing.
We audit several contracts on an annual basis to check that the reports being provided by the supplier are in line with the agreed contractual terms. This may also include comparing the reports to current market conditions.
We undertake mid-term contract reviews on behalf of our clients which provide an opportunity to realign your contract with the market. It also gives you the opportunity to set benchmark prices for new products that you now regularly produce that you didn’t when the initial contract was set up. This will also place you in a position where you can health check the entire contract and ensure that it is not only in line with the market but also with your requirements as a business going forward.
We will undertake a review of your spend highlighting areas where money could be saved either though a different manufacturing process, supplier selection or product reengineering to ensure that you obtain the best price possible and therefore can maximise your use of your allocated budget.
We will review the products that you produce and find the optimal manufacturing equipment for these products. From this we will then recommend selection of suppliers to you based on not only our experience and knowledge of the market but also your supplier selection criteria.
