With our head office & yard based in the heart of Yorkshire close to a number of arterial routes and together with our fleet of transport we are capable of operating nationwide. Whilst the majority of our work originates within a 100 mile radius we have found ourselves working for regular customers as far a field as Glasgow and London. We are often asked what “SAY” stands for. In literal terms it stands for ‘Scaffold Access Yorkshire’, but in real terms it stands for quality, safety and reliability.
Established in 2004, SAY Scaffolding Ltd has established itself as a key player within the scaffolding industry; providing access, protection and support scaffolding for a broad range of infrastructure, building and refurbishment projects.
We are able to offer bespoke and innovative scaffolding solutions using a combination of traditional tube and fitting, and Layher System Scaffold.

On Friday 21st February, they hosted a glittering ceremony at York Racecourse featuring a live performance from Beth McCarthy from The Voice. SAY Scaffolding were proud to be main sponsor for the event and help acknowledge the heroes from our local community.

Over the last few years the rugby club, like any other business in the world, has faced its own financial challenges with many of the individuals and businesses who have traditionally supported the club having to tighten their own purse strings.

The organisers have established a live music festival within the city of York delivering an unforgettable day full of live music and entertainment. This year Apollo 2014 will be supporting The Smiley Riley Fund. The Smiley Riley Fund is a non-profit organisation that makes donations to families and carers of children who are having chemotherapy to help with their living and travel costs during their childrens treatment.

Part of the same GB Taekwondo team that saw Jade Jones win gold in London 2012, Olympic hopeful Charlie Maddock has smashed through her first challenge after switching sports. The 5ft 4in Packmoor powerhouse admits she had found herself increasingly lacking motivation in kick-boxing after scooping virtually every accolade available in a stellar career. Maddock had been the best kick-boxer in the world at 60kg before changing disciplines to chase her Olympic dream, taking part in GB Taekwondo's Fighting Chance scheme. The coaches earmarked her for a future in the under-49kg division, and her time in the treatment room helped her reach the tough weight target ahead of schedule.
SAY provide regular support that enables Charlie to concentrate on her training and aim for gold in 2016 at the Olympics in Rio.
His greatest achievemenmt so far is winning the coveted WMC World title which he took in an exciting rematch with the then champion Numphon PK Sterio. He had lost a hightly disputed points decision a few months earlier but left no doubt when he won by KO in round 4. He has fought on some of the biggest promotions in the UK over recent years against som of the top international names in the sport including several well known Thais. Harrison has also been boosted by sponsorship from SAY Scaffolding, run by Phil Wetten, who is also a member of the national WAKO martial arts and sits on the board as a director.

SAY Scaffolding is an experienced and professional independent Yorkshire scaffolding company; dedicated to customer service, safety and quality.
Involving SAY early allows you the benefit of our expertise to help develop a scheme that will provide the right scaffold for the job in hand and ultimately be cost efficient.
The external storage area extends to a further 1.5 acres, within which our conventional scaffold materials and vehicles are stored. Our premises are secured with a state-of-the-art centrally monitored system, including 18 of the latest video surveillance cameras. We feel that our office complex should reflect the work that we carry out and we are proud to showcase it here.
In 2014 the adjoining unit became available and our Directors have taken this opportunity to add to our existing facilities. The new unit will offer us additional office & yard space and allow the company to develop into the future.
