Richard graduated in History (BA Hons) from Cardiff University and began his recruitment career in 1998; He quickly established himself as a top performing consultant and progressed rapidly to Divisional Manager. Richard has a track record of building successful teams and individual staff development. 2007 saw Richard establish the Wales division and has been the catalyst for leading Hunter Selection into the development of new market sectors.
Russell Smith
Russell has worked in Recruitment for over 20 years following a previous career in sport and education after graduating from Brunel University (BSc Hons) in 1991.
He established Hunter Selection in 2004 after leaving his role as Group Managing Director of one of the UK’s fastest growth Recruitment and Training businesses. Having managed a wide portfolio of activities including Technical and Commercial Recruitment, Executive Selection, Technical Training, Conference and Training Facilities and Occupational Psychology teams he brought a wealth of skills.
Building the business around his strong beliefs in how business should be conducted has been the primary principle and the strength of those core values is visible in the team today.
A Director and Non – Executive Director at other organisations in the region he brings a breadth of experience in delivering the best technical services to businesses nationwide.
Still a lover of sport and father to an active family Russell likes to relax with a local cider…..or two.
